Taking bookings · new clients welcome
Massage in Melbourne's inner north, grounded in anatomy and pain science — and tailored to how your body actually moves and feels. For necks, shoulders and backs that have had enough of desk work, and legs that have done the miles.
Sessions
Every appointment opens with a proper conversation — what's tight, what you've been doing with it, and what you'd like to be able to do again.
Firm, specific pressure through the neck, shoulders and lower back — for tension that's built up over months at a desk and doesn't shift with stretching alone.
Pre-event preparation or post-training recovery. Work through calves, quads, hips and shoulders so you can run, lift or play again without guarding.
Sustained, slow pressure through the connective tissue around the muscle — for restriction that feels broader than a single knot, and areas that keep tightening back up.
Not sure which one? Most sessions end up a blend — say what's going on and we'll work it out. Every appointment is 60 or 90 minutes, with time held aside for history and aftercare.
About Shae
Good treatment starts with understanding how you move — not just where it hurts.
I'm Shae, a Master of Osteopathy student at Victoria University, and Primordia Massage is my private studio in Melbourne's inner north. Everything I do is grounded in anatomy and pain science: I'll ask how you move, what you've already tried, and what you want to get back to doing. Then we treat that — not a generic hour on the table.

Your visit
A short history and a look at how you move — what's tight, what's guarding, what you want back. No rushing straight onto the table.
Deep tissue, sports work or something slower — whichever suits the day. Pressure is a conversation, never a test of endurance.
A few things worth trying in the days after — movement, load, rest — and a straight answer on whether you need to come back, and when.
Who it's for
Most people I see aren't injured. They're carrying tension that's built up quietly over months, and it's started to change how they sit, run or sleep.
And if you simply want an hour of quiet, that's a good enough reason on its own.
